Engagement photos: Show your personality!
It's not every day that you get to get dolled up and take photos with your boo. In fact, for most of you, you have probably never taken professional photos with your significant other. So how are you supposed to know what to wear, where to shoot?
The most important thing I tell my couples is to be yourself.
Tiana and Cortez definitely had a relaxed and casual side, but they also had an elegant, chic side that they chose to highlight for their engagement session. Tiana wore a beautiful lace and tulle dress by Nha Khanh with some fierce nude heels, and had her hair and makeup professionally done. I always recommend this to my brides. First of all, getting your makeup done is FUN! Second of all, it really helps you look and feel your very best. And when you feel your best, it just radiates from you! Cortez looked quite dapper in his black dress pants, with a vest to match, and white shirt. The two were comfortable and confident and were really able to focus on each other, instead of thinking about whether or not they made the right wardrobe decision.
To go with their fabulous wardrobe, we decided on a downtown location to really show them enjoying a night on the town. Playhouse square and the beautiful GE Chandelier in downtown Cleveland made for the perfect scene.
Remember, engagement photos are meant to be fun, unique, and most importantly a time to really enjoy each other's company.
